Project Gotham Racing 2 is obviously all about cars and as far as sound goes this game is okay. The sound is mainly dominated the sound of the cars roaring round the track. Apart from the sound of cars you can listen to the radio or tracks stored on your xbox. Playability & Enjoyment This game is very enjoyable to play, there is plenty of different challenges to complete and it gets and harder and harder as you go up levels which makes the game have a very good learning curve. This game will give you lots of enjoyment as it can be played on xbox live and their is lots of fun to be had on here with various games the community have made up.
Addictiveness This game is very addictive as there is so much to do. It will make you want to keep playing all day till your fingers hurt. There is lots of different modes and challenges and there is just so much to do that you will want to keep unlocking new car classes and new cars and new races. You can also play on xbox live which is completely addictive, it makes you want to play this game all the time.
Originality Tha game is fairly original and has a kudos system which is different to a lot of other games in the same category. As well as having to do well in races you also have to drive with style to earn kudos. This system is taken from the first PGR and has been enhanced for this version to make it better.
Graphics On this game the graphics are great, there is lots of detail and you can see the shimmering water and cobbled streets of Florence in good detail. The cars also look great which is the main thing, they have a nice shine on them and you can even see the driver in the car, the streets alongside the tracks look great and you can even make out the names of some of them, as well as this the weather looks good, there are lots of moody clouds and there are some great looking shadows when you drive the cars at night.

Difficulty & Complexity PGR 2 is one of those games that is for everyone, there are 5 different levels you can choose from in each race and you have to do better as you choose to race at a higher level. Also if you do well at higher levels you get bigger kudos bonuses meaning you can buy more cars. Racing at higher levels brings you more rewards but if you struggle to do well in races you can start at the bottom level and work your way up.
Value For Money This game is great value for money as it can now be bought for less than a tenner, well worth it in my opinion.
Longevity This game is so long it will last for ages, there is so much to do in single player then there is the great xbox live support for this game.
Advantages: budget title, real life cities, nice car line up, online play Disadvantages: sometimes repetitive challenges, damage system could be better

In Project Gotham Racing there is not the huge variety of cars like in the Gran Turismo series but the cars are well chosen. Working from the bottom in the smaller slower cars really helps you get a feel of the game and how to tackle the tough courses. After going through these levels you will feel ready to race in the likes of Ferrari's, Mercedes and TVR's. Track Locations in the game are limited but the amount of tracks within ... ...big cities of the world. Moscow, Washington DC, Chicago, Sydney ect. Also the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife is included to give you a real challenge when racing those track specials.

ProjectGothamRacing is my first adventure into the world of xbox 360 and my first taste of Microsoft games consoles.
I guess my gaming experience has been quite normal having spent my early teens working my way through successive generations nintendo consoles. Then I grew up and moved on the Playstion where my gaming tastes changed from platform games to racing games and first person shooters. When I purchased my Microsoft Xbox 360 18months ago I was lucky enought to have ProjectGothamRacing 3 bundled with the console. Previously I have owned ProjectGothamRacing 1 and 2 back on the original Xbox and before that Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast.
PGR3 still contains the basic concept of style "Kudos" that original debuted in Metropolis Street Racer. Over the years Bizzare Creations have done a fantastic job of updating this excellent race concept.
The latest incarnation delivers more cars, more tracks and high-definition graphics. Online PGR3 is really good fun be it with friends or randoms from around the world. Offline there isnt any better feeling than power-sliding around corners whislt collecting vast amounts of "Kudos" as you link one corner to the next.
