Quality projector, features for the user
Review of Sanyo PLC XU48 by gs.2003

Advantages: User friendly, Bright and good quality
Disadvantages: A recommended 3 metres from the screen or wall etc

...you get a strong quality from the projector. I have to say that Sanyo projector is quiet, well quieter than most projectors. You still get the fan noise, but isn't to bad. Overall I would recommend this projector not so much on cost, but the features and useability. ... Read review

...your way an looks kinda smart the con`s are 1)not hd and when my friend bougth this it wasnt that big but now hd is so much cheaper an move availible it would be worth upgradin to an hd model if you have the cash 2)picture quality fades when the screen is made bigger so best to keep it about 60" 3)again its the heat it generates theres no need for heaters with this thing in your room 4)is rather difficult to install if you wish to wall mount it ... ACER knows what you need...
Review of Acer X1160 by Realisticguy

Advantages: Impressive value for money
Disadvantages: just in black...

Well ...after 1 month I purchased, I'm still impressed about what you get for (just) £240 . Actually I just use for watching avi movies, dvds and documentaries, ocassionally as a massive TV replacement. The cinematic experience is as real as never I experienced before, enjoying a huge 6-8 feet width screen on your home. Really affordable choice comparing to a plasma TV cost, or another projectors around £600-800 that not neccesarily are gonna offer ...
