It can take resolutions of 1280x1024 but it has to compress them, 1024x768 is the one i leave it on, as i power my home cinema system from a computer, not a dvd player. I bought this projector for my home cinema system and i have been very impressed with it. For the money, i don't think there is a better projector packed with features and superb ease of use. I have had this for around a year and its a great piece of Home Cinama Kit. We have the projector set up in our living room and we get a fantastic picture on movies and a 105" Screen.
