...Now this isn't an amazing brightness, but the Sanyo PLC-SU20 (just as an example) works comfortably at 1200 lumens and around 1500 lumens is really what somebody new to projectors should probably be looking at. my friend owns one and its a good buy for a cheap slighlty cinema experiance but you should avoid if usin in a small room as it generates a lot of heat an has a constant humming to it that makes you want to throw it out the window! so the pro`s are 1) the screen size can be changed to fit your wall/sreen or what ever up to something stupid like 90" i belive. 2)its fun for big multiplayer games e.g halo3, mario party 3) a cheap way to get a party/cinema ...
