Advantages Sturdily built, decent quality stereo sound.
Disadvantages Appalling user manual, very poor battery life

DAB radio has been around for some time now and I was a little late to the party, not getting my first DAB set until about 7 years ago. The radio I bought was a Proline model and I recall purchasing it in Comet for £49.99 which was considered a bit of a bargain for DAB radios at the time. The radio is no longer available to buy new but can still be picked up second hand on eBay. I can’t tell you much about the Proline brand – to the best of my knowledge it’s a Comet in-house brand but if you google it there’s nothing to confirm this.
