I really cannot fault this product, its cheap (I got it for £29.99), its easy to install and use and it comes with a clear and concise manual. Unless you are bothered about brand names then there really is no reason to buy a more expensive DVD player. It looks great with its shiny silver finish and black button panels and the picture quality is superb thanks to the players ability to convert MPEG2 8-bit resolution to a higher bit rate to reduce the signs of digitizing. Sound quality is also high as it has an audio sampling rate of 24bit/96 KHz and a function called "Virtual surround sound" which can simulate the surround sound effect through a standard stereo TV without the need for rear speakers. All my DVDs play very smoothly on it with no stuttering and it even managed to play one of my old scratched DVDs that my older, more expensive DVD player couldn't. The remote control is simple to use and logical and has all the needed controls to navigate the menus and skip straight to the scenes you want using the disc Navigation systems cursor control. The actual player is compact and just the right shape to fit into a tight television cabinet. It can also read CDs,DVDRs, DVDRWs, mp3 files and also jpeg format images. This means that it can play movies that you have burnt to DVD from your computer. The menus are easy to navigate and I had the player up and running within five minutes. I have seen this player in loads of shops so there’s no excuse, look no further for a high quality, value for money DVD player.
