Introduction Okay, before reviewing the Impian I do need to be honest and say that I and my wife have owned a number of Protons over the years (around 6 at last count), and I do like the marque. Cheap, comfortable and reliable

AdvantagesComfort, fuel economy, excellent handling

DisadvantagesNone so far

" a 5 year old Proton Impian LS (sorry Ciao - I couldn't find a category for that one) which I bought with a full service history from my local Proton main dealer. It has covered just over 30,000 miles and has had one previous owner. I have owned the vehicle for just under a year. A truly under rated car

AdvantagesWell equipped, great steering & handling, safe, reliable

DisadvantagesNo image, some plastics feel cheap, boot lid hinges

Advantages Steady when driving at high speed

DisadvantagesParts tend to loosen over time

"...this is in fact a Proton Waja - one of Malaysia's best selling car. When it was first launched, as usual proton cars have the tendency of having problems especially in the power window, door panel and the dashboard. On the other hand, the 1.6 liter engine is not really fuel efficient and it might costs alot on fuel itself driving a Waja. On the brighter side, Waja is a great family car which can be used to drive over long distances. It's quite ..." Read review
