...This company specialises in insurance for static caravans, lodges and chalets and caravan holiday insurance cover from Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance plc. The company provides extensive cover for all sorts of holiday homes and personal needs. I first heard of this company when the insurance on my caravan was due for renewal. When I first purchased my caravan, the site owners had recommended a company and we had taken out insurance with them the previous year for £213.96. This company had sent us a renewal quote of £254.16. At the same time I had a letter from the caravan park telling us of Leisuredays. ...When I got my provisional driving licence, I was insured as a second driver on my car, with my dad as the main driver. Having passed my test in September, I took out my own insurance policy,and, predictably, the premium doubled. The cheapest quote I could find was with Direct Line plc. However, this month, whilst at University, my car was stolen, and found burnt out. It has been a fight to get a settlement, and they provide no update as to the status of the claim. Each time I rang them, I was passed from pillar to post, and eventually, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Far from sorting out my claim, she was rude, unhelpful, and confused matters further. Finally, almost a month after my car was recovered, I have been sent a letter with a settlement. I decided that I wished to dispute the settlement, and had to send them adverts... Read review

...because they have to be and I have to say for an insurance company this appears to be quite a rare occurrence. As far as their car insurance goes they are definitely worth getting a quote from, and if you find that they are around the cheapest then consider the service you will receive as well because not many companies provide the level of service they do. As well as car insurance they also provide other types of cover for your car, this includes breakdown cover, specific European breakdown cover, loans and specific car buying loans via one of their other websites www.jamjar.com which have quite competitive rates.
