Pure Digital

Advantages: Access To Digital Only Stations, Clear Reception, Looks Very Nice
Disadvantages: Single Speaker, Expensive, Only 6 Presets.

it in to select. Also present is a 2 line backlit LCD display. The audio quality of the radio is excellent and the list of available stations is growing... The only thing that is annoying is that with old analogue radios you could still listen to stations even if your reception wasnt perfect, you could choose to listen with some interference, With DAB you cant, its all or nothing... if the signal isnt spot on you just wont get the station. It would of been nice to have the option but this defeats the object of digital I guess. The radio is quite heavy but as I said earlier its mains only powered so it wont be moved around much. The mains adapters comes supplied. The radio only has 1 speaker but you can by an optional second one to turn the radio into a stereo system, These were selling for about £70 but have probably been reduced by ...

Review of Pure Digital Evoke 1

The Start of The Digital Era...

Advantages: Great Value, Good Features, Fantastic Quality Sound
Disadvantages: Silly Placement of the Mains Plug At The Back

I have always been a fan of the radio and although I have quite specific music tastes, I enjoy having the variety and general natter of a radio on in the background, especially to reduce boredom or to make a place seem a little more alive when your home alone. The Pure One Digital DAB Radio is the first and only DAB radio I have owned, you?ve got to move with the times right? I had been thinking about purchasing one for a while after hearing good things about this little radio and have now been enjoying it for about 6 months. The Pure One comes in a choice of 3 colours; black, pink and white. I would have loved to have brought the pink one as it?s a cute pastel colour, but opted for the funky and modern white, mainly due to the fact I was planning on using the radio in my office and most of my colleagues already think I?m a bit OTT ...

Review of Pure Digital ONE Classic

PURE ONE DAB

Advantages: Great sound, attractive, easy to use.
Disadvantages: No carry handle.

Wow! What can I say, I bought this in 2007 for £49.99. It is an excellent DAB Radio and depending where you are there are about 32 stations. The radio is light, small and easy to carry on long-distances. Attractive, mine is black. The night-light display is easy to read and after about an hour you will learn how to use all the functions and options. It receives FM and DAB. It does not have a carry handle so it is not as practical as some. With a lovely clear tone and a a one watt speaker, it is loud enough. The first one I bought was fine until a week later it wouldn't turn on. So, I took it back and got a replacement , the salesman saying he's never come across a faulty PURE. Anyway, my replacement as been absolutely brilliant. I have bought my father one and he has had no problems with his either. Highly recommended. ...
