I recieved it as a Christmas present and have used it probably 2 to 3 times a day since. I can personally attest to the fact that this product is a wonderful gift for all ages. Anyone from a five year old to someone upwards of 60 can plug it into the computer with its handy flip out usb connector and follow the easy steps to be editing and posting and emailing movies in minutes. It is perfect for children who are fascinated by everything and who will produce heart warming clips that they and there parents can cherish for years to come, to teens who want to record their bands newest hit or a message to their sweetheart, to adults who can take down notes or record important information that could otherwise be forgotten or missed. The Flip comes with a handy wrist cord so you don't have to be afraid of letting it fall. Other after market accesories include a bendable tripod for clear steady shots, and I have seen self modified Flips that incorporate lenses meant for cameras that allow the Flip to do things such as take wide angle shots, or greatly increase the zoom, I have even seen a fish eye lens setup. All of these modifications seem like fairly easy, quick, and cheap projects that anyone could undertake. All in all I would reccomend this to anyone, from the person who wants to capture the essence of their friends and themselves on film to the at home director who produces such well known, house hold favorites such as "Maggie's First Steps" or "Our Trip To Disney World". This is a versatile and durable product well worth the price.
