i have owned the pure elite for several months and i am very impressed. the sound quality is immaculate with good bass settings too, and signal is never a problem. the alarm feature is useful as are the presets, having tried the radio on battery the battery life is fairly high aswell. the REVU button can also be handy if you need the toilet! overall very good. although another family member has the radio in white ... and i wouldn't reccomend it as it has already got fairly grubby. definitely opt for black. the only drawback i would suggest is sometimes it can be TOO loud, if im listening at night and only want it quiet ... its not that quiet, but it does have a headphone slot to combat this! the sleep mode is also good for listening at night.
