Wow! What can I say, I bought this in 2007 for £49.99. It is an excellent DAB Radio and depending where you are there are about 32 stations. The radio is light, small and easy to carry on long-distances. Attractive, mine is black. The night-light display is easy to read and after about an hour you will learn how to use all the functions and options. It receives FM and DAB. It does not have a carry handle so it is not as practical as some. With a lovely clear tone and a a one watt speaker, it is loud enough.
The first one I bought was fine until a week later it wouldn't turn on. So, I took it back and got a replacement , the salesman saying he's never come across a faulty PURE. Anyway, my replacement as been absolutely brilliant. I have bought my father one and he has had no problems with his either. Highly recommended.
