Wow, what a great styled radio this is. Rugged portable design, ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Easy to set up once you have unpacked and screwed in the aerial. Takes less than a minute to tune into all available DAB radio stations and the names are displayed on a scrolling lit display screen. This has a 15 hour rechargeable battery built it, and it does last a long time.
This can also be used as a portable speaker with an input for an MP3 player or other audio source. A car charger can also be bought, but this is not included in the package.
Design - Fantastic almost retro/modern plastic and metal styling. Looks great in the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. Very rugged as well ideal for taking in the garden or on a picnic
Ease of Use - Very easy to use. Turn it on and it tunes in to all the available stations
Sound - Good quality digital sound via the large, unfortunately mono, central speaker
Reliability - I have had this for over six months now and not one issue. It does take quite a while to charge the battery (about 6 hours), but you can use while charging and this charge does last 15 hours.
Choice - all the main radio stations are available on DAB, plus some good more obscure channels not available on analogue like Chill radio
Overall a fantastic DAB radio, the only let down is 4 presets (but is so easy to scroll through channels) and the mono speaker (but has a great sound). Great design - if you are looking for a portable DAB radio, then this is the one for you.
