You can autotune, or station selection by name, and there is a scrolling text display showing additional programme information such as song titles, artists' names and sports results.
There are ten station presets and six EQ settings. The display shows volume level, battery life, time, signal strength, EQ setting and favourite station mode. The battery life is really good, and provides up to 18 hours of uninterrupted listening time.
Looks:- This is a very stylish slim line unit with anodized aluminium casing and a blue backlight display. There is no aerial sticking out because the headphones act at the aerial.
Disadvantages:- Whilst the sound quality is excellent the reception can be variable, and you do need to check that you have a strong digital reception in the areas where you want to use it. The reception can be somewhat limited when traveling around at speed, i.e. on a train. In some areas, mainly built up areas it is superb, but in the countryside it did prove somewhat lacking. It could have done with a built-in FM tuner and the headphones did not come with a remote control on them so you had to adjust everything one the unit itself.
Whilst being slim line, the unit is also larger than most of the competitors.
Suggested extras:- You might want to invest in a cover to keep it looking pristine and unscratched. (I managed to get a small scratch in mine, when it was in my handbag!!!)
Conclusion:- When the reception is sufficient, this is fabulous radio really is the only option, with great sound quality and a nice, uncluttered look. It could have done with a remote control on the headphones.
It is not cheap at around £100.00 so I would advise that you make sure you have decent DAB signal, otherwise despite the fabulous sound quality this would not be £100.00 well spent.

Advantages: Neat, easy to use, good reception Disadvantages: A little heavy on batteries
I bought mine about 6 months ago, and have had many happy hours of listening from it. Good outside reception in my area (Lancashire), but can go a bit wobbly indoors. Sound quality great when receiving a good signal. Tried it with rechargable batteries but gave up as they only seemed to last a matter of half an hour or so. 3 Duracell AAs last around 8-10 hours. Easy to tune in and set up presets, volume controlled by the little knobbly joystick in ... ...loose and falls off occasionally, but a drop of Uhu should fix it. Nice fitting earpieces, which makes a change as I must have tried half a dozen different makes over the past few years, and most make my ears sore after a few minutes use, - these don't.
Overall, a good buy.
