Fortunate for me Disney had make this game – PURE – this game is pure racing, with additional tricks to boost your speed. Playing this game for the first time is shocking, the graphics and the gameplay is a fresh idea, which keeps you want play more. You race against 16 opponents in each race; you fight for parts, the better place you going to get the better parts you’ll get to modify one of your quads.
For each game mode you need different ATV ( quad ), the quad attributes are MAX SPEED – most important thing for sprints, ACCELERATION – valuable in Races and Freestyles, HANDLING – it’s important for every game mode otherwise you going to land outside the map or hit the tree etc, BOOST – the higher the boost meter the stronger it’s going to be, TRICKS – high tricks meter means you going to do tricks fast. There are few game modes in Pure, and you will need different quads for each one. Race is a standard race with laps, with many turns, shortcuts and some moments to do tricks that give you boost. Sprint is a standard race from point A to point B, it’s like downhill, from what I remember you usually go down, and there are lots of possibilities to do crazy tricks, in Sprint it’s all about speed. In the third mode called Freestyle your goal is to score as much points as possible, you gain them from doing tricks, there are things to pick up, such as score multiplayer, boost, fuel or a star that allows you to do one of the best tricks. The Freestyle ends when you run out of gas, you can refill it by pick-ups or good trick combos.
World Tour ( single player campaign ) will keep you busy for long, and some of the levels are a big challenge. I have never played multiplayer as I don’t have access to X-Live so I can’t write about it. Once you finished the World Tour there is no more power to play this game again, like start over or something. It’s sad that on one console only one player can play, no split-screen of whatsoever is found.
Controls are great only at beginning doing tricks might be a little annoying, it might be complicated for the really young players, but with time you get used to it.
Graphics in this game make you drop your jaw all the way to the ground. Lots of colors makes it look good and warm just looking at somebody playing give you some entertainment. The levels are so beautiful that sometimes you would like to stop and look around the great landscapes. The ATV details are good allowing you to see some of the parts you just installed; maybe it does not make big difference for ordinary players like me but for some real quad owners probably would appreciate it.
The last thing is sound and music. The sounds of ATV’s are adding magic to the gameplay, even when quads are so small they can still roar like some monster tracks. Music in the game is full of energy, its fast and helps you to keep being focused.
Pure is a good game with amazing gameplay, you need to be focused otherwise you will not win. Graphics are outstanding, colorful and because of them sometimes you might turn on this game for few races after you finish it. With time the world tour get’s a little boring but the challenging races repay it. The Disney guys should add a split-screen options, even thou the game is really good and worth buying.
Advantages: Addictive, multiplayer, online play Disadvantages: World Tour mode is abit short, although the online play makes up for it.
Excellent game, brilliant graphics and extremely addictive gameplay.
This game will keep you, your family and friends entertained for hours, especially with the online play facility. It can become very competitive amongst friends and family. Very much like the first batch of Tony Hawk skating games you will want to keep going back to better your scores and times!!

Advantages: stunning graphics, good customisation Disadvantages: repetitive, frustrating not worth £40
found the graphics good, gameplay good but nothing stood out for me with this game, it just seemed to be the same thing over, and over and over again.
the difficulty turns up a big notch through the game and it becomes frustrated, from the day i bought it i've only played it about 6 times and i'm looking to get rid of it to help go towards a game like gears of war 2, or call of duty 5. maybe this game is your type of thing, i thought it would be ... ...game was worth 40 of my £'s, i would pay £15 for it and feel a little better but i'm not sure how much.
if i was the person reading this to consider buying the game, i'd ignore the reviews and just think to yourself "is it something i think i'll enjoy?" and even then be sure, i thought i was buti wasn't! ...

The bad
It?s a shame that the 360?s reliability and build quality doesn?t match its graphical and online talents. It?s well known that the machine itself has been plagued with overheating problems (although Microsoft?s three-year warranty ensures duff consoles are eventually repaired or replaced), but the hugely noisy cooling fans and disc drive are also incredibly annoying, especially if you?re using the console to watch a movie.
The bottom line
Despite its hardware issues, the Xbox360 is the best of the current gen consoles when it comes to pure, hardcore gaming. It?s got the best online service and the best selection of games ...

the xbox360 is pure brilliance, i have 2 in my household, and they are both used alot. there is alot of great games out for it, and there are plenty more coming out.... theres loads on all diffrent platforms, from harry potter - dead or alive.
overall my family, and my friends think this is a very very very good console, and would get on there selves if they had the money,
personally i recommend you getting an xbox360 as it is the best console around and it is suitable for all ages,
also the xbox live feature is brilliant to, although you have to pay for the membership to xbox live, is it defiantly worth your time and money, for some pure fun. ...

This console was released as Microsofts answer to next generation gaming and to start the ball rolling the Xbox360 certainly shows the cabability of giving the buyer pure next gen brilliance. This console is rivalled buy both Sony's PS3 and Nintendo's Wii. The playstation concentrating very much so on "hardcore" gaming which is too the case with the Xbox360, whereas Nintendo have gone for a much more Interactive and unique approach to gaming.
Microsoft's Xbox360 has been on the market now since November 2005 and has taken a strong foothold in the video gaming market, which obviously says something about the product.
