I used to run vista, which we all know is awful, so i thought lets upgrade. Im incredibly glad i did. The home screen looks very clean cut and easy to use. I especially like the "hover" function where you hover your mouse over the open programs on the task bar. This tool allows you to get a screen shot of exactly whats going on with each screen. Great idea!!!
The instalation was easy. Just follow the onscreen instructions and your flying. Anyone with some common sense can do it.
The basic idea of w7 is the speed of xp with the features of vista. I half agree, it looks quite different to vista but there is a hint of it but it definatley is quick.
I have not had a single problem with running w7, none of the ones that have been mentioned ...

With the recent release of the new Microsoft operating system windows 7 many people believe windows vista will be forgotten about with its constant security alerts and lack of user options. The new operating system has many new features which I will run through now.
Firstly the new taskbar down at the bottom is a lot easier on the eye as it no longer has any text whatsoever, instead Microsoft have opted to use just the logo of the software the user currently has running.
