Advantages: cheap and affordable, quick delivery, wide range Disadvantages: poor website search, unable to delete orders automatically
Introduction
*************
I have heard and seen very split opinions on QED.uk.com but I decided to risk buying with them anyway and I must stress that this review is based on my opinion of the site and on the service I received while buying the "Humax PVR 8000t" from them.
Prices & Money
*****************
This has to be the best part of QED, the prices are really very cheap and good value for money, they state that they are up to 40% off street price, my box was only 30% but that is still a mega saving of £60.
These prices are really very good and if you do a Price runner search then the site is cheapest almost every time. Personally I am really thankful for the cheap prices because being a teenager I really have no money and I will do almost anything to get something for cheaper.
They are not very good on the card ...

Advantages: stylish, fast and light Disadvantages: all the gumph you get on the laptop
This is a very a stylish, light weight laptop. The one touch web button is so handy as well, it realy is fast. The windows 7 home premium is like vista on steroids, its that fas, allthough it does take about 20 gb of hard drive but with 320gb of hard drive it hardly dents it. The built in webcam is again almost real time graphics as you speak youre lips move, not two minuets later. The software you get you get with the webcam is very good as well. The only thing i find with any new laptop is all the stuff they put on it like the office 2007 very nice, but only for 60 days, after spending £500 on a laptop there is not much left for nicetys like office 2007 i am just hopeing that after it runs out you can still put office 2000 on and the same applies with anti virus software were avg will do nicely. There is also a movie maker software ...

Naturally, we had to buy a new one but in the meantime we used a combi-microwave and a mini cooker-kindly donated by my parents. We ordered our cooker mid-November bearing in mind QED stated the delivery time would be three weeks so therefore, there should be no Christmas dinner worries - or should there?!. Three weeks later, nothing, so we called them and were told there would be a response. Eventually there was and that was only to tell us that we MAY receive it before Christmas! Lo and behold, we didn't! Try cooking a family Christmas dinner with the facilites we had! Nevertheless, we managed and arranged a delivery date for the Friday after New Year. Just as we were happily contemplating an alternative ...
