How many personalities does it take to fill a book?

AdvantagesThey've packed so many interesting people into one book!

DisadvantagesNone for me, but it would probably appeal most to the historically minded

"I remember from my childhood fascination with Tutankhamun and the world that was Ancient Egypt that, 3000-odd years ago, the Egyptians had a document which they called the Book of the Dead . . . but having never read it, I will just have to wonder whether it was as interesting as one of my Christmas presents, The QI Book of the Dead. Anybody who is at all familiar with the BBC series QI will know that the entire point of the programme is that it should ..." Read review

Hanging out with the Dead

AdvantagesLarge variety of interesting lives, Huge amounts of information, Inspirational.

DisadvantagesCan be quite hard to remember it all.

"These days, I don't read half as much as I'd like too; or half as much as I should - but during a recent holiday I found the time to read a few books! However, I found myself straining to keep up with the majority of them because of the large amount of subsidiary storylines that were running alongside. So, I bought myself a regular paperback - none ..." Read review

Did you know Oliver Cromwell was kidnapped by a monkey?

AdvantagesA fascinating read

Disadvantagesproofing errors aplenty

For example, the earth has two moons, and there are in fact only 8 planets in the solar system. This adoration of the program has led to me ammassing a selection of related books, with the latest being this book, The Book of The Dead, written by John Lloyd and John ..." Read review
