Advantages: New chipset, and processor socket.
Disadvantages: Isn't as advanced as it's made out

.... this comes in handy if the PC fails to POST, as it gives you an idea where the problem lies. The AG8's BIOS offers alot of control for tweaking performance. Prescottcore Pentium 4s are extremely power hungry, so it is handy to be able to apply more power. Fan control on the AG8 is excellent. ...This is one beast of a card. If you are going to build a mid range- to top spec system for gaming then here is your montehrboard. ASUSTech bring this board to you designed mainly for gamers with its SLI capabilities for fitting two NVidia's right onto it (make sure you have a big enough PSU). ASUS includes their patented technologies such as Ai Nos which injects a boost of power when you PC needs it most. This board supports AMD FX and dual core CPU's. Take note: more recent dual core by AMD are AM2 so they will not work on this board. It is 939 Pin. You get 3 PCI slots and 2 PCI-E slots (for you graphics card most likely).
