My daughter has always sung the praises of her bread maker to me and the gifts of freshly cooked bread were certainly a welcome treat. I expressed an interest in owning one myself. On mother's day this year my son surprised me with a lovely gift- a Swan bread maker SB 1010!
Never having used a bread maker before the first loaf was very experimental. I tried and failed to make sure that the water added in the recipe was just the right temperature, buy heating it first. Consequently the loaf sunk sadly in the middle. On my next attempt I used water directly from the cold tap and was delighted with the result- a well- risen golden loaf accompanied by an appetising aroma!

Did I check the fire alarm battery? Did I clean my bed sheets? I can?t get that damn ?Hamlet? advert tune out of my head. Where has that Penelope Pitstop poster gone? My electric toothbrush is very similar to Peter Crouch doing his robot dance after he scores. Did I answer all those 700 questions in that weird Q& A; for my adoring Ciao public?
