multi-processor systems. The quad-core processor architecture places four execution cores, or computational engines, within a single processor. This processor offers excellent performance and headroom for peak Internet server loads, resulting in faster response times, support for more users and improved scalability. It has been tested and validated for Dell™ Server. This processor is supported by Dell™ Technical Support when used with a Dell™ system.

Advantages: Cheap upgrade with great cache memory Disadvantages: not the fastest or best, most Core 2's are much better
...This is an okay machine that fails to ignite or excite you with its performance. I am still amazed that a quad-core can be only 1.86GHz in memory. I mean so many good Core 2 Duos pack over 2 Gigs its a wonder you get this minnow.
The E5320 has good bus speed of 1066 MHz and large cache memory of 8mb, performing well when doing work-related activities. However if you are after an entertainment machine to watch movies, play games or download stuff this is not the machine for you. But then this is an upgrade and is meant to replace older, slower machines with a new infrastructure. It doesn't work for me, since its a low-end 64-bit operator, but if you need a cheap upgrade to new technology then this will be a good choice for you....

Advantages: ideal for intense computing environments Disadvantages: none
...Very good Speed and unbelieveable performance and The Dual-Core Intel Xeonprocessor 5100 series is ideal for intense computing environments, 32-bit and 64-bit business-critical applications and high-end workstation and Analysis in my mind Dual-Core Intel Xeonprocessor 5100 series-based platforms are expected to deliver up to 2.25 times the performance and 2.35 times the performance/watt of previous-generation dual-core Intel Xeonprocessors and realiable performance and I always advice my friends, visiter and colike. In my view overall good performance Easily purchase. Good Manufacture support and overall we see performance, efficiency, design very valuable. Mostly people perfer and All this report in my survey and judge 80% people perfer this and I also recommend you please purchase....

Advantages: very fast, reliable Disadvantages: pricey, need to have IT knowledge
...This dual 2GHZcoreprocessor with combined speed of 4Ghz and a 4Mb Cache makes a very fast pc and will cope easily with many demanding programs running at once. There are probably better deals for the same or better processors, but you are paying for the quality, many dont have a high 4Mb cache. This would be most recommend for IT technicians or people who know what they are doing.
The main let down of this is the variation in the price, while this may be good, you dont want to be paying too much when you can get a compute just as good for the same high price or cheaper. But as i said before, if you can get a good deal, and know what your talking about, this is most recommended...

The E6300 is the cheapest of Intel's Core 2 Duo's with an average price range of around £120 and runs at a steady 1.86Ghz with 2 physical cores and a FSB of 1,066MHZ.
Now before I loose you in techno jargon I will explain what the E6300 basically is. more
