hopefully this will turn out to be more than a blank page this time. Why does this keep happening to me?
Anyway, about the book. This story doesn't have you on the edge of your seat the way some of Laymons really good stuff but, nevertheless, it's a good book with a decent story.
I won't give too much of the plot away, in case it spoils it for anyone. This story is set in the aftermath of a huge earthquake in Los Angeles. The book cleverly tells 3 different stories and brings them together at the end.
What I like about this book is it's plausible. These things could really happen. It shows how 'normal' people can go out of control when law and order are out of the window.
Like I said, not on the edge of your seat, can't put it down kind of stuff. But just a good story.
