Is "Punch-Out!!" a knockout?

Advantages: Pick-up & play fun, lengthy, endearing
Disadvantages: Very similar to the classics, sometimes tedious

With help from co-developers Next Level Games, Nintendo revives a criminally neglected classic and brings us ?Punch-Out!!? for the Wii. The Story In ?Punch-Out!!? you play as Little Mac, a young New-Yorker of small stature but great ambition that aspires to become the worldwide boxing champion. The actual game has deceptively little to do with real boxing though, with the ring simply serving as the ideal setting for a fresh new gameplay idea. From the NES-era to this very day, it?s a very popular trope to comprise a video-game of a variety of levels/stages/dungeons/worlds the player has to clear on his way to the ultimate goal. Each ends with a boss fight and those "stage-bosses" might be gigantic and menacing as in Zelda and Metroid, or devious and quirky like Dr. Robotnik or the Robot Masters, but ...

Review of Punch-Out!! (Wii)

I use the Plantronics Vista M12e at work.....

Advantages: you can talk on the phone leaving your hands free...
Disadvantages: the cable /lead is too short....

Let me just start by saying that I'm a receptionist and in my line of work it helps to have a system which allows you to have both your hands free because of the multiple tasks that need to be done all at once. The Plantronics Vista M12e system is useful to me because not only does it have receiver volume control and a transmit volume control but it also has a mute button which allows you to still hear the caller while also being able to speak briefly if needed to other people without interrupting the caller or putting them on hold. One of the things that annoy me about this system is the cable/lead that has the plug (which goes into the phone port) connected to it; I find that it is too short, this means that I can not move it out of the way thus I find myself always fighting with it. The other thing you should keep in mind is ...

More To Suffolk Than "Ha' Yew Go'a Loit, Bor?"

Advantages: A quiet spot not far from London and Midlands
Disadvantages: Not enough Adnams pubs

, this much-maligned county has many sights worthy of seeing too. I particularly like ?moody? river inlets like The Blackwater at Maldon. WOT WE DUN 4 MY BURFDAY AN? UVVER TIMES Sorry, that?s not how they speak in Suffolk ? I was just looking for another way of saying a boring title. THE DRIVE - Setting of in our ?other car?, my wife?s SMART on a Friday morning was no problem ? why, we even found time to go the Neasden IKEA to buy 400 tea-lights (just don?t ask, OK, but Heathrow?s third runway comes to mind). However, this diversion does mean that you then face the tedium of most of the North Circular Road, admittedly in a ?quiet? period, before picking up Eastern Avenue (my God, doesn?t it look like Western Avenue?), i.e. the A12 at Gants Hill. It?s not until you get to the split with the Southend road that things start to ...
