I visited Quality Save yesterday for the second time only, and I thought I would share the experience with you. I visited Quality Save yesterday for the second time only, and I thought I would share the experience with you. Previously, one of my friends told me about this shop but I wasn't very enthusiastic, but later on I had to visit it. I mean, sometimes, if you feel like buying new Nike trainers, big chocolate boxes from Thorntons and so on, you become obliged to watch your expenditure. However, if you are too rich to go to this shop, please do not continue reading; if I didn't have to visit it, I wouldn't have made this daring move… just kidding!
Unlike supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl, which depend on selling their own labels at low prices, Quality Save sells known products that you can find everywhere but at much higher prices in the other shops. This shop does not sell any frozen or chilled products, for there are no fridges or freezers at all in the shop, obviously to minimize the spending. However, you will find there confectionery and potato chips like Pringles; only you will be able to buy 2 of the 213g size for £1.38 (this is the price of only one in supermarkets like Tesco for example). Anyway, Quality Save is not my first choice when it comes to food but if one wants a cheap treat every now and then, why not? Just take a look at the expiry date, as you do in any other shop, to make sure everything is fine.
What I go to Quality Save for is mostly things like tissues, toilet paper, kitchen towels, etc… for you can get these things for very cheap prices. For example Kleenex tissues man size 65 X 3 ply twin pack is for £1.99 (this is at least £1.00 more in other supermarkets). Two rolls of kitchen towels can be bought for 89p, 4 rolls of 3 ply toilet paper for 99p, and 750ml of all surface cleaner for 99p, all without compromising the quality in any of the aforementioned products. I bought similar items from Sainsbury's and Aldi, among others, and the quality in these was not superior at all although the price was higher.
For you to take an idea, I'll try to list what is mainly available in Quality Save: biscuits, snacks, confectionery, cereals, cooking ingredients, noodles, baby stuff, pharmacy and health related items, toiletries, cleaning, household and kitchen products, laundry products, pet care, electric goods, cookware, and some clothing items. But you won't find fresh vegetables, ready meals and so on.
The Quality Save shop I go to is generally tidy and finding what you want is fairly easy. The shop tends to be crowded but not extremely so, and baskets and plastic bags are provided. All you have to do to checkout is to take the items you want to buy out of the basket, put them in front of the cashier, and they will do the rest. In the two times I visited the shop I paid with cash, but I believe debit cards at least are accepted. As for returning any of the things you bought, there's nothing on the receipt as to how long you can wait before you return things, but I read in the shop itself that they accept to exchange or refund damaged items only.
Unlike in Aldi and Lidl, the staff in Quality Save does the packing for you. I cannot say that the members of staff are extremely happy about what they do; they seem to be just busy, bored and not smiling, but not rude. It is definitely not like the extremely nice staff you find in The Body Shop or Schuh, but very similar to the "welcome" you get in Tesco, if you know what I mean; nothing to worry about.
Summary: Try it if you want to save your money for something better than toilet paper.
Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: most of it is poor quality
...a store like ‘QS’ – Quality Save. Well, don’t worry too much about it, no great loss!
‘QS’ stores basically stock all kinds of cheap brands, cheaply manufactured and cheaply laid out – abosulely no expense spent on the stores. But so what if you can get a good deal and in some of the items there are bargains to be had – but beware. The stores are quite large, with maybe half a dozen check out tills ... ...market, but indoors. Although the quality of the goods are on a par with what you would expect to find on a common or garden’ market stall.
You can go in there with a few quid in your purse and come out stocked up with all manner of crap - if that's really what you want from a shopping trip. ...

There is no doubt the quality and range of goods on sale in Marks and Spencer food hall is fantastic especially on the run up to Christmas. However If they are not careful they will price themselves out the market nearly all the goods they sell are all now widely available in Freezer shops at a fraction of the price.Asda range of goods is also comparable in quality but much cheaper. The old saying was" you get what you pay for" but by shopping around you can save a lot of money and not sacriface the taste or quality ...
Advantages: saves you money Disadvantages: they could do with more electrical goods
asda have kept the promise to keep the prices as low as possible,if you use some of there own brands you can save even more money off your shopping bills.sometimes buying there products you cannot tell the difference in taste and quality.the range of food is excellent and the clothes they sell are good quality.the electical goods can save you a lot of money when buying t.v and videos.there products are always well stocked up and now they stay open twenty four hours a day makes shopping a lot easyer.anybody looking to save money and not loose the quality of the food they buy should shop at asda, and car parking is easy.and the staff are helpful.this makes shopping more easy. ...

This shop offers great clothes and at great prices. The local Primark can be a little bit crowded but thats a price i'm willing to pay to get great bargans. My local shop is quite small but has two floors making it easy to get away from the pushing from down stairs.
The shop i normaly go to for my school things had shut down, so i went to the local town and went into Primark. I saved Loads of money. The price that my clothes came to there was at least £40 LESS than i would of had to pay if the shop was still open so I have no reason to hate Primark. The reason i am writing this is because i have read sarahd1111's reveiw saying it's a bad shop when it isn't. It can save you money and the clothes are Great Quality. If you are heading into town then stop off at Primark. You are bound to find a bargan or a item that wil suit what ...
