My Grandfather (who lives in Scotland) purchased the Game 667 PC package from Quantex for my birthday.

As I live in the north-east of England my grandfather clearly stated that the computer was intended as a present for his grandson (me) who lives at an alternative address in the north-east of England.

Two weeks past and no computer arrived, then one day I recieved a phone call from my grandfater. He told me that they had delivered the computer to his home address instead of mine. Anyways this eventually was sorted out and the computer was delivered a few days afterwards.

I opened up all the boxes and began to connect the wires to the computer.
When I came to plugging the monitor into the port on the back of the case, the whole card fell to the bottom of the case with a load smack. The graphics card wasn't even screwed to the case! I had to open up the case and re-insert the card which luckily still worked.

After this problem was resolved, my computer was connected. I switched it on and looked at the monitor. Two odd looking holes were below the screen. I discovered that these holes were intended for the monitor badge which I did not have.

I phoned customer services about this problem and they said they would send me a badge and some screws! 1 week laster a package arrived with a monitor badge but no screws. A note inside stated that they did not have any screws for my computer case. They build computers and they don't have screws!!!!??? In the package was also come complimentary games which were already contained in my computer package!?

5 months ago my monitor exploded due to a power surge (Not Quantex to blame this time!) I phoned the customer service number I dialled for my previous problems and an answering machine told me that they were re-locating so no-one could take my call. This answering machine message went on for weeks. I done my research and eventually spoke to a guy from Quantex. I told him the problem and I was issued with a new monitor, even without the reciept. - Some good points, some bad.

Final Word - Give Quantex a miss. If purchasing a new computer refer to a more popular company.
