The Prism Fiber Channel interface is a fully integrated SCSI-to-Fiber Channel router that transforms a SCSI-based library into a Fiber Channel library ready for integration into a SAN enabling a shared, heterogeneous, highly available environment that moves storage functions from servers to free up valuable bandwidth and eliminate bottlenecks. Unlike other library providers, Quantum's Fiber Channel interface is tightly coupled within the internal library architecture allowing the user to take full advantage of high availability features while sharing a consolidated user interface and network management system with the rest of the library. Quantum's Fiber Channel interface supports a full range of Fiber Channel topologies.
