All you have to do to rewind a film is: 1. Click the center button your iPod 2. Once you see a blue diamond appear it will also show you what time in the movie you are at. (E.G. 1 Hour 5 Minutes and 20 Seconds 1:05:20) 3. Use the scroll wheel to appropriately adjust to what time you want to be at. (E.G. 1 Hour 7 Minutes and 35 Seconds 1:07:35) 4. Once you are at the time, leave it alone or hit the center button again 'till it disappears. Enjoy!

click the center button while the video is playing and a status bar should come up at the bottom. then hold the left or right buttons depending on whether you want to fast forward or rewind and then it should start to go in the direction you want it to. if it doesnt work try clicking the center button and moving your finger around the circle like you would if you wanted to change the volume. if this doesnt work i would call apple.

Once you've selected the movie you've uploaded to the iPod Classic, you can simply use the fast forward or rewind buttons when the video is playing. The iPod goes every second of the movie when fast forwarding or rewinding before taking larger chunks of the video/film's time.
