Implanon
I am 21 and a few months into my fourth and final year of teacher training at University. Therefore I do not want to get pregnant for at the very least two years. Hi there, hope you don't mind my asking what you used before the implant? I am on Microgynon, and I often take my pill continuously, partly due to the fact that my husband works away a lot and so when he is home.... and partly because sometimes I just forgot to take it! Did any of you who now do not get bleeding take the pill before and did you use it properly (or like me)? Sorry for the bizarre question. Thanks in advance.
i want to know what the injections like as i have tryed the pill and forget to take it and the implanon is not for me as i am really depressed on it and its ruining my life!

Question about Implanon Contraceptive Implant
Answer by xKatieeex
Hiya,
I wouldn't recommend going on the injection, once it's in - it's in. If you have any really bad side effects, you just have to wait for it wear off.
Get the implant taken out as soon as possible and go to your doctor and talk to him/her about the depression. Also, ask about other forms of contraception. There may be another pill that'll agree with you.
Good luck!
