I'd use blonde if i was you. Would probably turn it back to brown. Not necessarily the shade it was though. Hope this helps!

Did you leave the colour on a bit too long or use a permanent dye instead of a semi? Either one of these can result in you hair going alot darker then you intended it too! but dark hair is very difficult to remove. Too remove the dark hair you will have to use a bleach, and a strong one. This will leave you hair in a bad condition which is why alot of hairdressers refuse to highlight black. Youll have to keep highlighting it every 8 weeks.

Try using Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 or any anti dandruff shampoo as it can strip some of the colour out. There is a colour remover available but I'm not sure if it would work with black
