Seeing the number of the person who calls is both equipment-specific and phone company dependant . . . Usually you arrange with your telephone company (such as BT) for a plan called something like "Caller Display" which might be available as part of your call package or may incur a specific additional monthly charge. If the equipment is enabled, the numbers will then show unless the caller has witheld their number
