It comes from Sebo, a German manufacturer. Hoover may cling on to its British heritage, with a plant in South Wales. Dyson has fled these shores to profiteer in the Far-Eastern sweatshops, and we are swamped with cheap and nasties.

I've been reliably informed by my wife and her girlfriends that along with putting out the rubbish, hoovering is a job for the man of the house. That's why I chose a man-style vacuum cleaner on good old navy blue. Whilst the Sebo x4Extra cuts my vacuuming time in half, I still struggle to keep abreast of developments in the Premier League due to housework obligations.
Hence, let's have a vote! Help me, who should do the hoovering and why?

What an amusing post! Although I tend to LOVE your wifes reasoning, I must admit that I do all the vacuuming in our home. My husband claims to HATE the sound of it but I actually do it as that way, I know that it has been done thoroughly, lol!! Seriously though, I think whoever has the most free time should be the one pushing the 'cuum (or share the chore)
