Advantages Yummmmmmmmmmyyyyy........

Disadvantages Over eating :)

Hi,
Everybody has different taste buds. Some people are vegetarian, some are meat lovers.... like my hubby...
So I always keep trying different forms of recipes of meat.
The following recipe is about Grilled Chicken.
Nando's food have always been our favourite and I think most of us do like it..so if you want to prepare your own Nando's at home here is what you need to do......

NANDO'S GRILLED CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
Chicken ( with skin)-------------- one whole ( 1 to 1.5 kg ) ( About 8 big pieces )
Marination:
Lemon Juice .................... 6 tbsp
Soya Sauce ........................2 Tbsp
Salt .............................. 1 tsp
Black Pepper ...............half teasp
Papprika .......................1 1/2Tbsp
Garlic Paste ..................1 1/2 tsp
Worshestershire Sauce ...........1 Tbsp
Chinese salt ............................1/2 tsp
Oil ........................................​..2 Tbsp
Meet tendrizer ......................1 tsp
Hot Peri Peri Sauce .............1 Tbsp

METHOD
Marinate chicken pieces in the above ingredients for atleast 2 to 4 hours.
Preheat grill. Grill chicken for half an hour on medium grill and then 15 more minutes on low heat.Chicken should be tender and properly grilled before serving.

Note: Nando's peri peri sauce is easily available from any departmental store.

PERI PERI FRIES
Peri peri fries are served with grilled chicken. You can prepare your peri peri fries in the oven without the worry of getting fat.
Place potato fries (you can use frozen fries )on a baking dish and place it in the oven on gas mark 6 for half an hour till they are crisp.
Place in the serving dish and sprinkle peri peri masala.
Peri peri masala:
Papprika ..1 Tbsp
Chat masala ........ 1 Tbsp.
( Chat masala is available from asian stores )
Note: You can replace chat masala with salt and pepper.

This dish is low in fat and easy to prepare. I usually marinate my chicken overnight to enhance the flavour. And grill it an hour before serving.
My hubby loves it.

    This sounds lovely ! A good thing about Nandos itself is that they proclaim to serve halal meats and so it gives muslims another choice of places to eat out other than being forced to go to an indian restaurant and eat what you would eat mainly at home ! Heidi xx
