The feel of this tissue is very smooth and soft. Being a 3-ply tissue, you can definitely feel the difference in texture and thickness. The fabric is very firm and sturdy, the individual plies are unlikely to peel away - unlike some poorer quality brands.
I'm not sure what the quilting effect does, I doubt that this is what makes the tissue softer, though the quilting does make various areas of the tissue plump up more, and thus perhaps simulating a softer cushioning quality. I think the actual softness of the tissue is largely due to ...

**My Opinion**
This duvet set was purchased for my niece who loves Barbie as most little girls do. She takes her Barbie everywhere! Apparently she could not wait to get to bed to sleep in her special princess bed! It is such an easy way to get the kids to go to bed and to stay in bed. I would highly recommend it. The duvet set is easily washable, on a standard 40 degree wash; it dries rather quickly so it's perfect for all those little accidents. The set is very easy iron so it saves time getting those awkward creases out. It also dries in no time. I have set the age as 3-5years but it is suitable for the older children as well. I still had my Barbie when I was 11! Oh the shame, did I really just admit that? Nowadays kids are having babies of their own at that age!

Advantages: Easy to wash and iron. Brightens up the room. Disadvantages: Has a popper fastening instead of buttons but this isnt too much of a problem.
Im very happy as well as my daughter as I really like this duvet cover.
Having a 4 year old who loves Disney Princess and pink, it can be hard to please her! I found this to be perfect for her room which was lacking in a Disney Princess bed cover.
The colour is bright and cheery and the picture is detailed and large. She loves the picture on the pillowcase,
The material is a polycotton mix and is machine washable at 40 degrees. It dries in record time and is so easy to iron. The quality of the material is good, not rough like some polycotton covers can be.
The only downside is that the fastening is poppers and not buttons which I prefer but that doesnt bother my daughter and that is all that matters! ...
