Ok, Mummy got her new wheels! Now baby needs his!!

Hey, there are so many pushchairs out there I had NO idea what to get our little one. I wanted him to be comfortable. However, I wanted it to be easy for mummy, daddy and grandparents to use and not take an hour getting in and out the car.

After much research, we decided on the Quinny Buzz.

The Quinny Buzz has a unique 'gas spring' technology which means it can be unfolded with one hand. YES!!! That is right! ONE HAND! It is very light. I literally pick it out of the boot with one hand. Place it on the ground. Then slightly pull up on the handle and like MAGIC, it unfolds!

The washable seat unit can face forward or backward and be adjusted to lie virtually flat making the pushchair suitable from birth. There is much talk about babies needing to face TOWARDS the person pushing them for two reasons. One reason is that the adult can keep a good eye on the little one and the other reason is so that the baby can interact with the adult which aids language development.

All wheels have suspension and the highly maneuverable front swivel wheel can also be locked. This is an added bonus if you happen to be by yourself and the car is parked on an incline. You don't want "Jr." rolling down the hill while you are unlocking the car do you? Another bonus is that the back wheels can be easily taken off to fit even the smallest of cars. I have an Agila that it fits easily in. A friend has a Mini and hers is in her boot in only minutes!

The three wheel configuration makes it easy to get about with and change directions easily. I have been able to get into the tightest of spots quickly and easily.

The tyres have their own air pump that allows for a very smooth ride for the child. My own son falls asleep within minutes of being in this pushchair!

The handle is also height adjustable. I am only 5 ft. 2 inches tall and keep it at it's lowest height. However, my husband is over 6 ft. tall and has it at it's highest height. This is his favourite feature because it allows him to push it and not hurt his back!

A rain cover, sun canopy, changing bag and car seat adapters are included. It converts to travel system with the addition of the Cabrio infant carrier.

At the moment, I am using it as a travel system. The car seat quickly goes from car to pram frame in seconds!!! With just the push of a couple of buttons baby can move from car to pram to car again and never wake up!

I have also bought the matching travel muff for the winter time.

There is one draw back. There is a changing bag that attaches to the frame. However, besides that, there is no area for putting any shopping. You have to get creative with your shopping. I usually tie my bags to the handles and this has worked a treat. However, I wouldn't recommend doing a load of grocery shopping that you are going to have to walk home with.

Now, here are some of the boring details.

Max Weight Capacity 44.09 lb.
Folded Width 7.87 in.

Folded Depth 23.62 in.

Folded Height 31.5 in.

Weight 26.46 lb.
Overall Warranty 1 Year

Frame Warranty 2 Years

This pushchair with the added car seat and foot muff cost £430 at Mothercare. I know this is more than a lot of pushchairs on the market. However, I felt that it was well worth the money and I should be able to use it until my son is 5 years old.

When I am out and about with this chair, I get numerous comments on the look and also the ease of use. Many are very impressed with its design and ask about it and where they can get one.

My son LOVES his new "baby" wheels and mummy and daddy enjoy it as well!!

Sounds fantastic. Unfortunately, we need to get our M&P pram fixed as Baby No 2 on it's way. Can't justify buying this but it does look fab and I'm going green with envy! Cx

Thankfully the days of buggie choosing are long gone. Nice review

Why is choosing a buggy so hard? Thanks for the great review.
