Advantages Smallest buggy in the world, own carry bag! Gets round smalll spaces...
Disadvantages Small wheels that arn't so good on uneven ground
As soon as I saw the sleek and stylish Zapp I fell in love with it. It was £150 in Mothercare and I couldn't really afford that amount of money, considering we already have a very good pushchair. After a few weeks they brought the zapp out in pink, and I new I was having one!!! We are changing to our cabriolet for the summer and there is no way our current pushchair is going to fit in the boot!
They are £150 in Mothercare and if you purchase the matching footmuff for £40 at the same time you get it for £20! You can also get new and used ones off ebay rangeing from £80 to £140 depending on the colour and accessories you get with it.The colours you can buy are pink, olive green, lime, Pacific blue, orange flash, black, deep red, sand, steel, navy and mauve. So theres quite a range!!!
I managed to get one off ebay, brand new for £115 including a footmuff and postage costs. The Quinny Zapp is very compact and easy to put together, instructions are provided though I didn't feel the need to read them! With just a few easy clicks, the zapp could be used immediately. You get the Zapp itself, a sun canopy, raincover, travel bag, and adaptors that can be used with the maxi cosi car seat. You can buy footmuffs for £30-£40 and changing bags to match. The Zapp folds up to just over 2 feet long and it even has its own bag so you can carry it easily onto public transport and store safely in the boot of the car. I love the fact that it is so light and easy to use.The Zapp doesn't recline, although the seat is big and spacous and Sophie loves being able to see everything. It also doesn't have any storage so shopping becomes a bit of a problem. Although you can get shopping nets and baskets on ebay I haven't got round to buying one.
The Zapp can be used in conjuntion with the maxi cosi car seat from 0-6 months, you have to buy this seperate for around £100 they are currently £99.99 in argos. It is a very good second pushchair, great for a nip round the town or a walk in the park. Or like me if you car boot is tiny! I love the pushchair and am very pleased with it, I still have the old one, it comes in handy for long walks on all terrain as the quinnys wheels are so small.
