Iinstalling the ram was very easy, after i installed it, it appeared to work ok, but after running memtest I found it had an error..... After running Memtest it came up with error, after error, when the RAM was installed. Most of the time I didn't get that far thanks to blue screen errors. ...

It was very stable, and quick enough for most applications i think the problem was based on the age of my computer as my computer is around 3-4 years old, and my friend got his last christmas. i ended up selling the ram to my friend, but he agrees that it is very fast and stable. ...down to 2 companies and Kingston is my "favorite of favorites" So for one of my PC's I chose the Kingston Hyper X RAM and i loved the results. I got my Kingston Hyper X RAM from ebay and a very competative price. Design: Most RAM looks the same, its a plain little green board with black things on, well this isnt the case for Hyper X RAM, is a brilliant blue colour (my favorite colour is blue) and this is because of its heatsinking blue metal outer ...
...too, namley to cool your RAM. Most people only have heatsinks on their CPU and graphics card (if they are luckey on their Hard Disk Drive too) and maybe 1 fan in the case somewere, but if you want to keep your case cooler (and in doing so make everything run smoother) then its a good idea to have more a heatsink of the RAM because every degree can make all the difference in a computer. kingston well i use it because i like it thats it its stable and very very realiable i have now had the sam piec of ram in my wifes computer for about two years now thats how realiable it is i mean its not the fastest but for stability i love it its cheap to a point. there are cheaper but i think this is is the middle class of the computing world its not then top end and its not bottem of the barrel i have got to say thought if your looking to speed ...
...it being much better espiecialy with vista being out would only recomend this for 2000 or lower unless you are putting in a couple of them dont get me wrong xp will run very well with this but i allways like to go over the score with ram i use a minimum of 1gb ram with xp and 2gb with vista this severly improves performance and your computer will never be lagging behind ...
