The Kingston DRAM 2 GB PC2-3200 memory works well in my PC. Kingston is one of the market leaders in quality memory along with crucial memory. Memory is one of the easiest upgrades anyone can do and will greatly affect the performance of your PC. I have had one of these in my PC since day one and it's been working fine. I am also considering upgrading and getting another one, not sure yet though. In my previous PC I used to have crucial memory and ...
...to pin point. The Kingston memory allows me to run applications simultaneously without any glitches or crashes. I use Adobe Photoshop and Audition quite a lot and it seems to be able to handle them very well. As a test I've run both programs together performing tasks and it's coped with them. So proves it will handle powerful programs well. Main features and functions from box: - General Data Integrity Check ECC Features Registered Memory - Supply ... Read review

Go fast for less!
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 2 GB PC2-4200 by MadMike542

Advantages: Extremely cheap and very fast
Disadvantages: DDR2, not compatible with all motherboards.

I recently bought 2GB of kingston valueram as an upgrade for my gaming PC since I require as much speed etc as possible to get the best out of my machine. I looked around for cheap DDR2 RAM and came across this little gem whilst surfing the net and couldn't resist purchasing it. The upgrade from my previous 1GB of DDR2 was astonishing. My computer now processes things much quicker than before and still has a lot of spare memory left over even when ...
...meaning my entire computer runs faster. With being a website designer in my spare time I use dreamweaver and photoshop a lot, and with my previous setup I struggled to make good use of the programs due to slow saving times and such alike which got quite frustrating. With the introduction of 2gb of this RAM they now run like a dream simultaneously. My current setup is 2x1gb sticks which are chanelled together via my motherboard slots. The fact they ... Corsair DDR2 6400C4 800mhz 2GB (2x1GB pair)
Review of Corsair XMS2 DRAM 2 GB PC2-5400 by ClockworkUniverse42

Advantages: Excellent speeds, reliable, very cheap, decent overclocking potential
Disadvantages: Slightly poor quality of heatsink

Unfortunately the link to the Corsair XMS2 DRAM 2GB PC2-6400 C4 only goes to this page. So here's where I'll write my review! I'm going to just go ahead and state it right at the beginning - this is some excellent memory. It's fast (800mhz), it has lower timings (4-4-4-12), it's reliable, and it's very cheap. You can pick the 2GB set of two modules up from £35 anywhere now, which is a phenomenally low price. That's really the hallmark of this product ...
...running games in Windows Vista, there's really no need to have 4GB of memory; even the most demanding game you can run won't use more than 2GB RAM. That's why I recommend this 2GB set to everyone I help construct computers. Not only it is fast, and so brilliant for games of all sorts, it's also cheap, so it's great for those with more basic computer needs as well. From running to instances of Eve Online on one computer to running multiple applications ... Read review
