Kingston: The Daddy of the RAM world!
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 1 GB PC2-4200 by legeo80

Advantages: Great performance, easy installation, good price.
Disadvantages: None so far!

...per usual, when you buy Kingston RAM you can be sure you're going to get a quality product. Just because this is labelled as "ValueRam", be assured that your expectations need not drop. The performance boost very noticeable, and the RAM itself is very easy to install. These beauties are specifically designed with the whitebox user in mind! When I first bought it, as soon as I put it in the speed increase was instantly noticeable. I'd been having ...
...games I'd play were a little sluggish, but the RAM sorted that out. It might not seem like much of an issue to people who don't game as much, but to us it really is one! But yeah, wether it's for gaming, or even just a boost for your general PC performance, then this is definately the way to go. And at the price too, it does compete easily with all it's competitors. ... Read review

Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 1 GB PC2100 by dean89

Advantages: Backed by a lifetime warranty from kingston and is 100% tested
Disadvantages: Errors detected

ValueRAM is Kingston's high-quality line of 'by spec' generic memory designed with the price conscious system builder, assembler and white box markets in mind. After running Memtest it came up with error, after error, when the RAM was installed. Most of the time I didn't get that far thanks to blue screen errors. ...
...removed. I then tried the ram in a freinds computer. It was very stable, and quick enough for most applications i think the problem was based on the age of my computer as my computer is around 3-4 years old, and my friend got his last christmas. i ended up selling the ram to my friend, but he agrees that it is very fast and stable. I would recomend this to any one with a computer that isnt to old, but there are many other RAM that will work on ... Read review

Go fast for less!
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 2 GB PC2-4200 by MadMike542

Advantages: Extremely cheap and very fast
Disadvantages: DDR2, not compatible with all motherboards.

I recently bought 2GB of kingston valueram as an upgrade for my gaming PC since I require as much speed etc as possible to get the best out of my machine. I looked around for cheap DDR2 RAM and came across this little gem whilst surfing the net and couldn't resist purchasing it. The upgrade from my previous 1GB of DDR2 was astonishing. My computer now processes things much quicker than before and still has a lot of spare memory left over even when ...
...meaning my entire computer runs faster. With being a website designer in my spare time I use dreamweaver and photoshop a lot, and with my previous setup I struggled to make good use of the programs due to slow saving times and such alike which got quite frustrating. With the introduction of 2gb of this RAM they now run like a dream simultaneously. My current setup is 2x1gb sticks which are chanelled together via my motherboard slots. The fact they ...
