Advantages: good info display, easy to read when running Disadvantages: watch is a little chunky, beware of dead battery on arrival!
...i purchased the garmin forerunner 50 after a couple of weeks of pondering and reading reviews about it. the reviews were at times mixed but i guess you will get that with everything. anyway here are my thoughts on it:
i run on average 4 miles a trip 3 times a week. so i wanted something that would keep me up to date on how i was getting on- the garmin forerunner 50 does this brilliantly.
its a simple little set up- there is a usb pen, a footpod and a watch. the footpod clips to your training shoes, the watch records information from the footpod and the usb pen recieves data from the watch upon completion of excersise and transfers it to your pc.
clip on your footpod, set your watch to train, wait for a little foot symbol on the watch display and off you go!

Advantages: Ideal size for our kitchen but now need to find one of similar size. Disadvantages: Failed completely in 3 1/2 years, noisy, handle fell off.
...Hi,
we bought this freezer on the 3rd August 2004 less than 4 years ago for £270. About 2 months ago it simply stopped working. We've paid out £35 for an engineer and it cannot be repaired. The freezer has been in the same spot in our kitchen and we've looked after it well. Hotpoint tell us there is nothing we can do. My advice to anyone out there is don't touch this appliance with a barge pole. I'm really annoyed because we paid a lot of money in good faith and expected it to last A LOT LONGER than this. Incidentally the handle came off in my hand some time ago and it used to make a lot of noise. We bought the fridge at the same time RLA50 and that keeps on freezing all our fruit and veg. I love the name 'future'. I'm assuming that is some sort of a joke....

...My easy to open wallet strikes again, this time in the form of a dishwasher. Although, this one was more necessary, my old one was sort of falling to bits (literally).
Look and Design
Nothing too fancy, it's a white box with an opening door and some buttons on said door, exactly what you would expect a dishwasher to look like. It's of a reasonable size, being 84.5 cm high, 60 cm wide and 60 cm deep, and easily fits into my kitchen, which is fairly average.
Function
It is very easy to use, all the buttons are pretty much self explanatory as are the program modes which are Prerinse, Quick Wash 45°C, Economy 50°C, Auto Daily 45°C-65°C and Intensive 70°C. It also has a really useful half load button, so if you need some stuff washed but you haven't managed to fill the dishwasher, you can use this, it...
