RHS Gardeners Encyclopaedia - RHS

This 648 page tome from the Royal Horticultural Society is an absolute wealth of gardening information. The RHS are famous for their outstanding books and this one justifies their reputation. I found it to be highly readable and includes good advice on any gardening related topic you could think of. Although the cover price is a hefty £29.95, the book can be obtained for as little as £10 if you know where to look. A tricky subject for all new gardeners and no doubt, like me you will all fall into the same trap,you will want to buy everything that you see in the garden centre. Stop there First buy a good book, I would recommend you spend seveal hours rummaging through the pages, admiring all the wonderfull plants and reading about them, you usualy find most of them will only grow in Bolivia and at the first sign of frost they die.
