This phone is an excellent mobile and PDA, very easy to use and useful help files within the phone, to help you find out how to do the basic operations. For the two weeks that I had the phone I could not fault it in anyway. It is light to carry 4.2 oz / 120 g easy to see the screen display, with it's large screen makes it easy to read messages without having to set the larger font display, or bring out the glasses. simple to use functions and idiot guide for those of us who need them!

The carry case comes with the PDA and locks automatically when the PDA is put back in its case, great if you're a lady and it's in your handbag no amount of prodding the case will make this product perform a function, whilst it is still in it's case, so no need to fiddle with locking codes before hand, on taking out the PDA from it's case it unlocks, unless you state in the phone that you want to unlock manually, to action this function you will need to set a code on the phone. The life time on the phone is excellent considering the amount of software the phone is installed with, Up to 8 days (192 hrs) standby time and 4 hours talk time, I charged the battery every day (which is suggested in hand book) and it never interfered with the phones capabilities.

The font size can be reduced or increased up to 14 ideal for those who have poor eye sight, and has the option of changing the font style to Arial and Courier. The phone software includes Wireless Email/ Voice and SMS /Mobile Data Service /Wireless Calendar /Wireless Internet. Emails came through very quickly, when set up correctly.

This phone would be good for business who are always on the move, to download your emails, it is better than a bulky laptop any day. You can add as many email accounts to download to your phone with little or no restrictions, just make sure you know how to set up the accounts first. The phone is designed to remain on and continuously connected to the wireless network, allowing email and other corporate data to be automatically delivered to the handheld. The hands-free speakerphone is really good quality, I hardly got any interference when using this

Folder management to help you file and store your messages/emails also allowing you to delete emails from the dedicated server from the handheld. Bluetooth technology, Intuitive icons and menus with 32 MB flash memory, 4 MB SRAM, Embedded RIMŽ wireless modem, USB cable for charging and PC synchronisation. It synchronises with Microsoft Outlook/Lotus/Outlook/ calendar/ memopad/ tasks and emails. Although take care on the synchronisation, this is where I had one big problem, I accidentally touched a key on the phone and it locked out all my contacts. Even after taking the battery out and leaving it out for 30 minutes, I still could not retrieve my contacts.

Because the support was minimal from Vodafone and it happened at the weekend when the "dedicated team dose not work" I had to replace the PDA with a different make and model. The phone is a must buy if you're a business who's needs are always to be contactable wherever, whenever. But not if you have a problem with the phone and need it sorting within a few hours, then don't buy, not yet at least.

A good buy for those of us who use for business and personal use, but again the need for good support is a must also. All in all the phone is a great piece of technology just make sure that the supplier knows about the Blackberry technology and you will be fine. I might try next year with the Blackberry, I'll let you know how I get on.
