It is basically like msn messenger but just for blackberries, so you can send instant messages,pictures, audios etc all for free as long as you have the internet bundle.
I'm very happy with my blackberry, it is like having your own secretary on the go. It has email, facebook, sms, camera, music etc etc.
However back to the product review. When my friend got her blackberry she didn't use any form of protection for it. After a few weeks i noticed a few scratches on the back of her phone so i thought when i get mine i need to invest in something to protect the blackberry. I browsed the internet and came across different options. There were colourful skins that came in lots of differents colours & designs but you had to peel them onto the blackberry yourself. I cam across hard casings on amazon.co.uk but i thought they looked too bulky and took away the beauty of the berry.
Then i came across these lovely little things called Blackberry skins. I bought a green one on amazon for £5.95 to test out what they were like. When it arrived it just slipped out of the box in one piece. It is just a piece of coloured silicone then it is very bendy and u just slip it over your blackberry. It covers the back and the sides of the phone but not the front. This means that the actual screen of the blackberry is not protected from any damage e.g scratches. However the feel of the skin is. . .weird, Its kind of firm but smooth. It just feels like another layer of skin, which is what it is meant to be. The skin has gaps so you can still take pictures from your berry with the skin on and you can attach your charger, ear plugs etc without a problem. I was happy with my green skin so decided to buy another colour from amazon. I purchased the orange skin for £2.40. An absolute bargain i thought.
Another good thing with using the skin is that it stops the blackberry from slipping. If you place it on your dashboard in the car and turn a corner usually anything on the dashboard gives way and goes with the flow of the corner. The blackberry stays firm in its place and only moves slightly. The phone just easily slip out of your pocket, because the skin grips your jeans. The skin is also waterproof which is another bonus on top of this great product.
The material the skin is made out of is silicone and it is very durable. It doesn't rip or tear and when you put it over the phone you don't feel worried that it is going to snap.
