Advantages: good guide Disadvantages: all of it
...I bought this laser hairremover thinking from the description that it does a big area at one time, but I was wrong!
When the laser hairremover arrived I was really happy as I thought that it did a big area of removal in one go but it only did one hair at a time. this would definatly take a long time to do 2 half leg removal's.
It didnt actually work to remove the hair, you got to put it on the root of the hair and then it will zap the hair folicule. I tried for over an hour to get the hair romoved.
The description of the remover was very much incorrect to what it actually does. I was very dissappointed in the contraption.
The remover can be used by the main's, it has a key to turn it on, has a strength guide from low to high.
I personally wouldnt use this again...

Advantages: Huge savings! Disadvantages: It is a lengthy process.
...This portable laser kit has recently made a new addition to my beauty accessories cabinet. When it comes to permanent hairremoval for home use, there is usually some skepticism due probably to previous experiences with other products. So, does it really work? The good news is that it does work. I had laser treatments done professionally in the past, and Rio Laser HairRemoval works and feels about the same. BUT, it does so at a smaller scale. Lasers used in clinics and approved centres are built in such a way that the laser beam is amplified in order to cover areas of about half squared centimetre at the time. So the treatment is quite fast. Our portable laser on the other hand, emits only one beam, just enough to treat one hair at the time. This proves to be a lengthy and tricky task. I found it hard to aim at the hair root at first...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: time consuming, expensive, ineffective
...At over £90 i thought this was expensive but was won over by the claims of permamnent hairlessness! This gadget has a little laser that you have to direct at every individual hair you want to treat, after you have put water onto it. The instrucitons do say that each hair may need several treatments to be affected and the laser only works if you have it pointing right at the root, which may not necessarily be directly under the visible part fo the hair. you dont relaise how many hairs you have until you have to zap them one at a time. I have spent many hours using the laser on one leg only, for comparison, and and they still look the same. This product has made no observable difference to the level of hair on my leg.
The product says it is not safe for those with an afro-caribean skin and is most effective on paler skins. I am very pale...

Well basically I bought this and think it is a total waste of money. I paid £99 for this item and thought it would be worth it, and would save a lot in the long run as I wouldn't need any other hair removal products.
The instructions were easy enough... more
Ok I have always shaved my legs in the past, I have tried creams and gels but have given up after the first go as I found they didn’t work, I have also tried having them waxed, but that just isn’t going to happen again much to painful for my liking, but... more
On a man a little facial stubble can be extremely attractive, however for those of us of the female persuasion it is somewhat less so. Therefore in the name of beauty we are willing to put ourselves through the hell of facial hair removal.

I have only had my legs professionally waxed once, years ago. At the time I was amazed how this was removed all of the hairs in one go and they didn`t grow back for a few weeks. That was the one and only time, I didn`t think it hurt much, it was... more
