...best. I was recommended the ROCCAT KONE by a trustworthy fiend, and well this mouse is undoubtably the best mouse on the market for both MMORPG style games along with FPS style games.

...top class mouse, regardless of ROCCAT being a rather unknown company this mouse is well worth parting cash for. Its texture is sublime and its shape leaves nothing to be desired. Im sure the price will drop in the future, as with all products of this kind, but 100% worth it if you are prepared to part with this kind of cash.

Introduction:
Havning previously been a a loyal Logitec customer when it comes to gaming mice i've always wanted the best of the best. I was recommended the ROCCAT KONE by a trustworthy fiend, and well this mouse is undoubtably the best mouse on the market for both MMORPG style games along with FPS style games.

Sensitivity and DPI:
There are a huge number of ways to tune this mouse to achieve your desired result, the interface is a simple 1,2,3,4,5,6 option choice for DPI ranging from 600 to 3,200. With regards to sensitivity there are a healthy 10 options. It can take time to adjust the settings to suit your prefered sensitivity due to this large number of options, but once you have found your niche you'll definatly know.

(For you serious gamers)
Having been a long time Counter strike and World of Warcraft player myself (nerd much?) I've found that at a higher end level of gaming each game or rather game style requires its own sensitivity and responsiveness, the ability to switch between profiles without having to bring the entire inferfaces up is a real treat, and extremly useful.

Buttons:
There are a total of 8 buttons on the mouse, all set to a default function, however if you desire you can interchange the function of each button with up to 18 different options, and a very handy 'macro' option, which allows you to advance the use of a single button. Leaving it a very versitle mouse outside of the gaming world.

Lights:
The Kone's party piece, a thin LED strip runs down the each side of the mouse, being lit from all the 4 corners, also a large symbol of a cat / panther at the rear of the mouse, which is as you would expect fully light up. The choice of colour is truely vast, and can really get your imagination going. Previously unknown when i bought the mouse but the colours literally mix,
For example: i mix the colours of green and red which mix in the middle to form a strong orange.

Beware, one downside to these lights is, if like me, your palms tend to sweat with intense 2 hour gaming sessions they can tend to stick to the light strip, this can naturally be resolved with a quick wipe of your palm + mouse.

General thoughts and value for money:
