Ladies (and Gents), the future is here and it's in the form of RoC Protinent which really does do what it says on the bottle.
I confess to be fanatical about skin care (my mum taught me well) and over the years have tried just about every product that we are bombarded with daily. Some of them are pretty good but generally you find that one or two fibs are told in order to entice those amongst us who are eagerly searching for that magic product that will give us the appearance of having stepped back 5 years in time or spent huge amounts of cash on cosmetic procedures.
Whilst RoC Protinent is not technically a skin care product, I feel comfortable in putting it into that category as it really should be used as part of our daily skin care regime. If I had to create a new category for this product I would probably come up with something like, 'Why Put Yourself Through the Pain of Surgery?' or 'Face Lift in a Bottle' (doesn't that already exist?). Anyway, back to the product.
RoC Protinent claims that the Serum lifts your skin therefore providing a more youthful look. I think what it does is actually tighten the skin, thereby reducing those fine lines, and even some of those more determined track lines that plague us. What you are left with is a smooth canvas upon which to apply your make up, or not as the case may be, and yes, the effect is immediate. I have never had any kind of allergic reaction from it, which is unusual for a product such as this as often they leave your skin feeling tight and pinched.
This product really does lift your skin and give the appearance of having had a good nights sleep, and more…. I can confidently say that having used RoC Protinent for over a year now I can see visible improvements in my skin. My face and neck look firmer and it takes a lot less time to apply my make-up which now goes on smoothly.
I am not going to pretend that it is cheap but it really does last a long time as you only need to apply a very small amount, less than the size of a pea. I bought a 30 ml bottle 4 months ago and paid about £22, but it is still going strong and I use it every day. You can get it for about £16 on the RoC Website and cheaper on other websites, but be careful who you buy from, remember you are putting this on your skin.
I would suggest that you use this product in conjunction with the other RoC products (I promise I don't work for them) and at 42 I have the skin of a person in their late 20s and that has not always been the case.
This is a good quick fix product if you have had a late night or simply look like you have, and although the product does not suggest this, I use it on the back of my hands, which I have seriously neglected over the years, and yes it works in just the same way.
Let me know what you think of RoC, as you can see I am a true fan.
