just out of interest or you could choose to spread your reading over the year by reading the appropriate month as it occurs. I just like to dip into the book and when I see a bird in our garden and start to feel curious about what it is doing, I will find it in this book. I sometimes get the answer to my curious thought and I invariably start to find out lots of other wonderful facts too.
The book is published by A C Black and has the seal of approval from the RSPB. It has a RRP of £14.99 but is currently available on Amazon for £8.43. I?m sure that it would make a great present for any gardenbird lover! ...

We bought this for Baby B as yet another treat. I'm sure that this baby has more toys than any other baby in the whole entire world! We are forever buying her 'just another one' and this little book is the latest toy to add to the collection!
It is from the Garden Friends range from Babies r Us (part of toys r us). It is basically a butterly who's wings are like pages. They open and inside are pages of a book with a story and an activity on each page.
The book is made from fabrcic so it's very soft and also quite cuddly too!
Each page tells the story about the garden friends going on a picnic. There are little actvities on each page suitable for young babies including lifting up the dragonflies' wings, pulling the snail out of it's plant pot, pulling the leaf up to see what's behind it.
