. . Looking through the catalogue, you will also find over 300 styling items for sale, including funky pedal pads, titanium gear knobs & red leather gaiters, fancy locking wheel nuts etc. Plus the usual array of tax disc holders & "go faster" Aluminium look rubber mats, and of course the usual range of "special" cone filters.
Right, this review is about grill mesh, and this company does a lot of it, in four different looks. They do Silver, Black, Blue, and of course the Chrome which is the subject of this review. The quality of the material is pretty good, and it does seem to last without tarnishing.
The basic idea is that you can take your old original grille, remove the mesh, slats, or plastic "vents" and change it for something that meets your personal taste, if not one that pleases the rest of us. The mesh comes in one size only, 20 cms by 120 cms. I have seen these grilles made up to look very good, but I have also sseen very ameteur attempts, which remind me of some "Blue Peter" type toy,

Having said that, when it comes to the looks of these items, they do have quite a range, and the quality of the equipment seems very good, I just sometimes wonder if they are spending their hard earned cash on the wrong things.
Cost - to be quite honest I have found that the prices are a little on the steep side, or perhaps I just prefer the original equi[ment. Where to buy - All the major motor accessory shops stock these, especially A1 Motor Stores (www.a1motorstores.co.uk). These are also available by mail order.
Their website is simply http://www.racex.com/ Check it out. There are some good bits, but a lot of it is not yet up & running. You will find a few pics of a young lady called Whitney on there, she is their model, who is an Ex Miss England Finalist from 2005.
