Review of Gupi - Intelligent Robot Guinea Pig by rachael23

Advantages: interactive, cute, makes funny noises
Disadvantages: take a long time to charge

...charge you have to stroke Gupi until he makes a happy giggling noise, then put it down and it will start to wonder about the room. As Gupi gets close to an object/wall you have to stroke its back before it crashes. This helps train it not to crash into things. It will also respond if you call it and apparently if you make loud noises or sudden movements it will run away but my Gupi hasn't done that yet. I think it may be concussed from all the walls ...
...If you put Gupi in the dark it gets scared until you comfort it then he will wonder around quite happily again making its funny little noises. Then you push a button on its head to make it go to sleep and it snores! When it needs charging Gupi stops and shakes its head while making yet more odd noises. Gupi comes with a small plastic carrot which you can use to guide him around with. You can also put it in his mouth when you are trying to comfort ... Read review

Silverlit Micro Picooz Helicopter
Review of Silverlit Micro RC PicooZ Helicopter by spokamillie

Advantages: Ease of use, spare parts easily obtained, Great fun for children and adults
Disadvantages: Shame it doesn't run for very long.

When you first see this helicopter, you may well think that it doesn't look very robust, but on trying it out; I couldn't believe how many knocks it took with no breakages whatsoever, it just keeps on going. I bought one for my husband, but now we are both hooked. So believe me they are not just for kids. If you want to chill out for a while, this is a great way to do it, flying this little helicopter around your lounge, choosing where you want to ...
...your landing, (I've managed both from inside the uplighter, took a little practise though)! negotiating obstacles, ie: pets, (even my cat likes to join in the fun, she tries to swat the helicopter in the air as it flies past). The radio control is easy to use, You'll love it. ... Read review

Super car
Review of HPI Nitro Rush Evo RTR by Benman456

Advantages: Fast and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Fuel and damages are costly.

A really good first rc nitro car. Very fast engine, with a nice sound and a high top speed and acceleration. A very reliable car with durable parts. fuel is rather expensive, as it runs on 16% nitro fuel. The engine is so powerful that you can slide and drift the cr on pretty much any surface. Great as a backyard basher, and as a proper offroader. I have 2 of these cars now, and I race them with my family, and I like to upgrade them with lots of ... Read review

Stay away.
Review of Roboreptile by Albinorhino

Advantages: nice look, good sound
Disadvantages: doesn't respond to his controls, to many levels of control.

...it so I thought a roboreptile was going to be fun as well. I went home with my reptile to first take about fifteen minutes to get the thing out of the box. Then I get to find out that it takes 8 batteries, again a bit of a disappointment but I battery him up and get to work. Turn him on and his startup takes a good 45 seconds, he doesn't respond to his controls reither, you would hit walk forward or sideways and instead he would just move in the ... Read review

BlackGhost Remote Control Helicopter
Review of BladeRunner Black Ghost Helicopter by alienateduk

Advantages: Cheap, Easy controls, Lots of fun
Disadvantages: Requires 6AA batteries, Fine control takes a long time to learn

I received this product for Christmas and have had a lot of fun playing with it. It is a simple 2 rotor design remote control helicopter made from black polystyrene. The two rotors work independently so their power can be adjusted to give a more stable flight. The controls are very simple with a thumb stick to control lift, one to control turning and a dial in the middle that adjusts the amount of power to each rotor individually so the helicopter ...
...controller uses infra red signals to control the helicopter and has a side compartment which opens to reveal the "Docking Port" which is where you plug in the helicopter to recharge it, which is very simple to use. Also in the box are stickers to decorate the helicopter making it more appealing and also a very useful instruction sheet that details the controls, how to charge and possible errors and how to adjust them. The main downside to the product ... Read review
