I first discovered this great station on the way to watch a football match whilst stuck in a traffic jam - the misery of which was lightened by the good variety of music on Radio Jackie. Formerly A Pirate Station in the 1960s - 1980s Radio Jackie won an official licence in March last year after Thames Radio went bust and they took over the licence. More on this can be found at the bottom of the page by going onto their website. Music is generally upbeat covering decades from the 70s onwards, and is presented by good if not famous presenters.
