On Saturday night, if you're looking for some music, entertaining competitions and general fun to get you going before you go out, why not try the Beat. Presented by Dean Jackson, who also co-produces the show with Emma Clifford, the first hour starts quite poppy with plenty of give aways.
The next three hours start getting more into dance and indie, so there really is something for everybody.
The show has been going for many years now and has spread it's catchment area further, by being networked on Radios Derby and Lincolnshire as well as Radio Nottingham.
The show is broadcast from the BBC's state of the art complex in Nottingham, which allows also for live music to be played during the show. Catch it if you can.
